2003-06-14 - 9:23 p.m. Last night we gave my mom her birthday present . Her birthday isn't until July 4th, but my sister is very impatient. A Movado watch - did I mention my sister works in watches? Mom loved it! My parents let me sleep until 10:30 this morning. Noodled around most of the day ... played with my little guy ... helped put groceries away. Taught my sister how to make our famous artichoke chicken - she's not even remotely domestic, but she's trying. Then we gave dad his Springsteen tickets and some really emotionally charged cards. He got a bit misty-eyed ... the old softie. And now we're all downstairs in the basement (second livingroom) ... watching Maid in Manhattan on the bigscreen (complete with surround sound). I'm in my usual seat in front of the computer.
