2003-06-18 - 10:19 a.m. Today, they're using a jackhammer in the basement, just below our department. Gasoline fumes still in the air. Insta-headache when I walked in this morning. Luckily I have Advil liqui-gels in my bag (the bag is, by most standards, too big to be a purse). It would be a great day to go to the bar after work. Unfortunately I don't get paid until tomorrow. In good news, my landlord is considering getting me a new fridge (the weatherstripping type seal on the one I have now is not great, so the fridge isn't as cold as it should be, and the freezer is stuck on an antarctic setting ... and someone had duct-taped it shut at one point, so I have sticky tape residue all over it). A new fridge would be great (and probably more energy efficient too). Might be delivered as early as Monday. Working on getting cable installed too. My little guy just has to have his Spongebob. Anyway, tomorrow will be a shopping day (though I have less to buy than I originally thought). I need an oven thermometer because the dial on my oven has no numbers on it. I need to go grocery shopping. And I'd like to go get my nails done.
