2003-07-02 - 3:36 p.m. Yesterday I had a 4000 line spreadsheet that was $56,000.00 out of balance. It had to be reconciled and balanced by the end of Thursday (keeping in mind that they might let us out of here early on Thursday because of the holiday weekend). I tried to email it to myself so I could work on it at home, but the email server did not like it because the attachment waw too big. This morning I managed to balance it. YAY!! And it’s now 2000 lines long. Even better! Happy girl. So to celebrate, I went out and got my nails done at lunch today. They are bright pink (like, "ARRGGHH! My eyes! It burns!" pink. or maybe it's KMDFM [knock-me-down-fuck-me] pink. I’ll bet they glow in blacklite). Payday is tomorrow. Rent is due, as is daycare (jury is still out on whether it’s going to be free for the summer in addition to the fall) and the cell phone bill to my father. Still basically broke for the next two weeks – but happy. I have my son with me. I have my nails done. We have enough food in the house. Life is good.
