1980-01-03 - 12:59 a.m. Crap - just lost an entire entry. Start over - Bought two new garbage cans today, a shovel for pitching mulch (which is free at a local park - and my front and side yards desperately need it), a paper towel holder, a spray nozzle for the hose, a two toned wood chess set, and more matchbox cars for my son (yes, I know that Santa brought him 76 new ones this past Christmas, and his teacher at his old school bought him 20 more last month. But none of those were Spongebob themed and he was such a good kid in the store.) I'm running my air conditioner for the first time tonight. New development. Thursday evening, I'm picking up two computers from my mother's cousin's husband and driving one down to my grandmother's (mother's mother of course) house, where my mother will be visiting that day (still with me? good). Dropping off the computer and my son. Mom will set up the computer and will take my son back to her house until she comes up to my house for the BBQ on Saturday. This will give my son a great visit with my parents (who he lived with until very recently), which he will love. It will also give me some time to run around in circles setting up for the party without worrying about my little guy. It also means that I might be able to go out on Friday night if I'm not dead tired by then. I am determined that everything will be done before Saturday morning, so that I can relax and enjoy my guests.
