2003-07-17 - 10:12 a.m. Apparently, there was some sort of error with the salary direct deposit wire transfer. Not that anyone has told us anything, but there's no $$$$.$$ in my (or anyone on salary's direct deposit) checking account and the CFO has been on the phone with the bank and the payroll service most of the morning. I've overheard the phrase, "Worst case scenario, the money will be there at 12:01 tonight." Oh, that's just DUCKY! But there's still no official word, so most people have no clue. Is work going to pay the overdraft and returned check fees that people incur?? And I was going to try to get stuff accomplished at lunch today - I have been so damn efficient lately. This is the last thing that I needed. I will survive.
