2003-08-06 - 6:03 p.m. Busy girl. Day trip to New Hope with Jenny. Her apartment is great - lots of character - and much muich brighter than her old cave. Unfortunately, the A/C kicked up the cat hair and I wound up in allergic reaction - worst one in years. I love you Anneliese! So I called out of work. Not like I really wanted to be there anyway. Monday night - sinuses all blocked and throbbing. Great. Called out of work on Tuesday too. Did some hunting for a new job and some thinking about where I want my life to go. And much blowing my nose. Which brings us to today: So I went to work today(after picking up sinus medication). Sent out the Yen payment to Japan, opened the mail, caught up on the past two days of paperwork that had piled up, and saved the company over $27K ... And got some great news. Someone might be coming home later next week. And might be coming to visit me too. Happy girl. That and the Indigo Girls concert in NYC on Thursday (plus the day off Thursday and Friday for a 4 day weekend with my son at my parents' house) next week is looking very good indeed.
