2003-08-09 - 12:49 p.m. The dragon has updated at long last. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Welocme back oh sweaty androgynous one! Perhaps she would have an interesting perspective on my small child who has far far far too much energy on this rainy day. I'm considering having him put on his bathing suit and taking him out to run around in the rain outside until he falls over, exhausted. Like a wet living wind up toy. Maybe then he'd even take a nap. We're visiting a very beautiful friend in North Jersey that my sweet boy calls "Missaria" (think Miss Maria, only leave out the M in Maria). You know, the "chick in the red shirt" from my BBQ? Yeah, that one. Heh heh heh. Rainy days are good to spend at the mall (and the mall with the Torrid is really close by) but the problem with this is that everybody will be at the mall ... and I'm not really up for crowds today. Hell, I'm not even out of my pajamas yet ... and not sure I want to get out of them either. But the prospect of a warm shower is enticing. Hmmmm. If I can get my child to take a nap ... freshly showered ... (just kidding. wouldn't. on principle. but it's nice to think about.) Lunch might be good too. Back and forth on the go out or stay in debate ... but it's largely not up to me. I may be forced to go out for some cough medicine. 15 minute long coughing fits are not particularly good things. Ok, so what I'm probably going to do: take a shower, get dressed, go out, pick up cough medicine, maybe go out to lunch, find something to tire out my child (maybe walking in the rain for awhile - jumping in puddles). Then maybe a movie or two with some popcorn. That sounds pretty good. Or maybe something interesting will happen - as it often does ... and change the plans entirely. Life is more fun that way. Maybe we can rouse the dragon ... now that would be ultimately cool.
