2003-08-25 - 4:18 p.m. Official word from the doctor - no I didn't do any permanent damage to my eyes. Simple chemical burn - and it is healing nicely. No eyepatch necessary. That's a relief. And I'm a good candidate for laser eye surgery. $2350.00 per eye (all inclusive - sounds like a vacation, doesn't it?). So I'm going back for a consultation next month.
