2003-10-02 - 2:36 p.m. Indigo Girls Concert was amazing. The child slept, as expected, after we all ate diner at the concert and of course taking time to flirt with several people first. They played the Power of Two - which did it for me. It was the 2nd or 3rd song of the night and I would have gone home happy at that point. Unfortunately, some of the women near us did not get "their" song played, and got all pissy about it. The cab ride back to Penn Station was a good decision (what with the sleeping toddler in my arms). And we Jersey Girls managed to navigate the train and the subway system passably enough. Work called today to say that they won't be needing me to come in between now and the 10th, so I can collect my personal belongings whenever - but they're paying me through the 10th and health insurance is good through the end of the month. Fabulous. One less stress factor in my life. Now, to start pounding the pavement.
